A Stolen Moment

The Ocean breeze this eventide,
Cools soft, warm, skin with misty breath
I welcome you with arms held wide,
Craving loves sweetest little death.

My lips whisper softly in your ear,
Trusting to you my hearts’ greatest desire.
I pull you closer, so warm, so dear.
Your lips brush mine, velvet soft, sparks a fire.

Sweet tension swells, my loins thus ache,
Your need swells hard against my thigh.
Caress my inside passage, deeply fill and take,
Until we crest that rhythmic wave so high.

Sweet heat doth build when skin to skin,
Gentle breath of love, becomes tender sigh.
Your body a comfort in mine, treasured deep within,
On rose scented satin, where we lie.

Waves bathe the shore, a lover’s song,
The twilight sky turns pink and purple paint.
This love we found, reaching, seeking, the time so long,
Together now, nothing can breach nor in envy taint.

This time, but a moment, so precious, so real,
Stolen from life so busy, but an hour of time.
A secret exchanged, a promise made until,
We may repeat such pleasure, together sublime.

THE DOLPHIN LADY

He who has seen the dolphin lady,
Granted was his wish.
Others try to glimpse the lovely lady with her fish.

She swims at night by full moon's glow,
Reflections silver and white.
Then surface they, in motion slow,
Their skins a ghostly white.

She gave her life to save these creatures
from the men's death net,
So the dolphins immortalized her to repay
the debt.
And now she swims forever with the
dolphins by her side,
And grants good fortune to those who see
her spirit far and wide.

THE MESSENGER

Our love was born on Dragon's wings,
to Heaven's golden door.
For only Dragons fly that high,
Among the stars, they soar.

And with the Dragon's tongue we spoke,
With his language, our request.
And God looked down upon our union,
Which He so richly blessed.

He sent that down on those same
strong wings, a bond never to be broken.
And the Dragon cleansed us with
God's special fire,
As our final vows were spoken.

DANCING IN THE MIRROR

To dance in the mirror, admiring the self
To listen to a language coming only from the heart.

To sit quietly and listen, being fully in the moment
Loving deeply from the soul, and knowing you’re a part.

Of the study of a wisdom that’s older than mere years
Being content with what you have, a truly selfless life.

To breathe the essence of your life by letting go of useless fears
Living peacefully in aloneness, when all around is strife.

The circle of our friends are few, their value beyond price
Other students of a higher life, true seekers of the divine.

As we teach each other how to love and give and sacrifice
We begin a relationship with our emotions, and never cross the line.

And when we leave this life behind, we’ll do it with profound joy
This journey will have found an end; we led it with an innate light.

So, dance before the mirror and admire what you see
Let go of all that bothers you, live simply and live free.

WHAT I REALLY WANTED TO SAY

If you wake before I do, kiss me gently on my brow.
My heart will miss you every day, and await your safe return.

Last night, in love, I said goodbye intended with this vow,
No tears would see you off at dawn, no matter how they burn.

Do not worry for me, my love, I’ll be here when you land ashore,
No complaints shall pass over prayerful lips; I’ll greet you with a smile.

Routine shall pass the hours and days; that roll over into weeks and more,
To carry on is the lot I chose, a military wife I too, go the extra mile.

Should you return in the hours before, the dawn fades into the day,
Wake me with a thousand kisses; hold me tight in your embrace.

Though there be so much to share, so many things to say,
That can wait for another hour, as I look upon your dear, dear face.

FOR TOMORROW

As the dawn presents,
So dies the past.
Restful, content.
Free of pain at last.

For the future we must live.
Today and Tomorrow.
All our love we must give.
For time, we only borrow.

We are but aliens in a strange land.
Visiting for a short time.
The Father extends His hand.
The choices I make are mine.

We mustn't give in to worldly things.
The emotions we must feel.
Lift your voice and with praises sing.
Thanks to the Lord, for He is indeed real.

When we have fulfilled our commitment here.
The Lord will give us blessed rest.
Though die we must, we needn't fear.
The Lord God knows what is best.

In death we sleep.
We peacefully wait.
Until He comes, His harvest to reap.
And we all march through Heaven's beautiful gate.
