SUMMER IS HERE

JULY has arrived and with it, the heat. The trip to New York was neither pleasant nor restful and the farewells, bittersweet. Nevertheless, the last of my kids have graduated from high school and will be attending college beginning this fall. I have no idea when I will see them again. The revisions are still ongoing and I hope to re-submit the story by the end of this month and, hopefully, to more than one publisher. I have been accepted to and enrolled in the Institute for Childrens Literature, having already submitted my first assignment. According to the enrollment office, 66% of all prospective students are turned away. I scored high on the testing and decided to enroll when invited due to the fact that I can use what I learn toward my adult writing as well. I hoped you all enjoyed the Poem dedicated to fathers everywhere. It will be removed at this time and replaced with mystery poem number three. Have you put it all together yet? Summer is my hybernation season, so I will keep this short. Take care and I will see you next month.
