Well, Happy New Year everyone! The publishing industry seems to be moving at a snail's pace since there has been no word yet from one of the publishers reviewing my work. I had to do a little re-editing on another book and am getting ready to re-submit it with the hope that it will be picked up this time. Book one of my four book YA series "School for Natural Healers," is coming to an end and I will be starting on book 2 in the next month or so. Other ideas have crept to the forefront of my mind and are on hold since I have to finish one series before I start another and am still freelancing part time and working away from home part time. It is my hope that this year will see my dreams realized where my ideas are the only ones I will have to worry about with the excitement of seeing my stories on store shelves where you can get them more easily. I will always have plenty of material for books to keep you entertained until I am no longer able to move or think. My "Hearts Trilogy" series is still available through Romance at Heart Publications and "The Christmas Kitten," is still in stores for a little while yet. If you don't have your copy of Suzie's story, you don't know what you're missing. I always have books completed and waiting for the right agent or publisher to ask for. "Mated?" is on limited review by people who have asked to read it and to comment on it. So far, reviews for this book have been extremely favorable. It has been said that I have a new way for people to view what was usually culturally stereotypical, and making it all new and fresh, that I have characters that are three dimensional and also people you can relate to. So many have said they can see this one made into a movie. That would certainly be exciting. With the Holiday Season coming up before we know it, you will want to reserve this treasure for your children and that of the kid in all of us. It is sure to become the next Christmas Classic with more positive messages that will surprise and delight you all the way to the end. It is the hope of me and my family that you will give it a go and look for me to be reading for kids of all ages this year.
